California eHealth Collaborative Webinar: Glen Moy, California HealthCare Foundation
Meeting Description: On Tuesday, April 19 at 1:00 PM, California eHealth Collaborative is delighted to present Glen Moy, Program Director, California HealthCare Foundation. Glen will present an update on the Foundation's current Health IT projects.
Glen is a senior program officer for the Foundation's Better Chronic Disease Care program, which focuses on improving clinical outcomes and quality of life for Californians with chronic diseases. He manages projects that expand adoption of health information technology to improve care and promote greater efficiency in the health care system. He previously served as director of health informatics for the California Prison Health Care Receivership, where he was principal solution architect for the Receivership's health information technology-related efforts. Earlier, Glen was manager of health information technology for Lumetra and helped lead a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid special project to develop a model for assisting small- to medium-sized physician practices with the adoption of electronic health records. He also served as a senior project manager and implementation consultant for Chicago-based Allscripts Healthcare Solutions. Webinars from the California eHealth Collaborative provide presentations from national subject matter experts speaking on a variety of topics related to the development and operation of health information exchange. Webinars are held every other Tuesday at 1:00 PM Pacific Time.
