NexJ Systems Inc., (TSX: NXJ) a leading provider of next generation enterprise customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, was recognized with two CDN Channel Elite Awards, winning Gold for Best Cloud Computing Solution and Gold for Best Mobile Solution. The annual Channel Elite Awards (CEA) gala recognizes Canadian IT Solution Providers for their innovation, leadership, and commitment to creating value for their customers.

"Recognition from the CDN Channel Elite Awards serves as further evidence that the technology we are developing is not just industry-leading, but truly one-of-a-kind," said William M. Tatham, Chief Executive Officer of NexJ Systems. "NexJ technology represents a disruptive step forward in cloud and mobile computing that allows large enterprises in the insurance, finance, and healthcare industries to solve business problems with truly innovative solutions."

NexJ took home the Gold award for Best Cloud Computing Solution for its deployment of NexJ Disease Screening at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA).  Running on the NexJ Connected Wellness Platform, NexJ Disease Screening is used to manage a proactive, population-based colorectal cancer screening program across the province.  In its first year in operation, NexJ Disease Screening helped SCA exceed its screening targets by more than 20%, representing a 10-fold increase in overall screening participation. SCA estimates that the program has saved an additional 30 lives through earlier detection and treatment.

A second App running on the NexJ Connected Wellness Platform, NexJ Personal Health Coaching for Diabetes, received top honours for Best Mobile Solution. The solution lets patients track their bio-metric measurements and receive encouragement from health coaches through their smartphones, so they are continually motivated to achieve their health and wellness goals.  Black Creek Community Health Centre leveraged NexJ Personal Health Coaching to help patients better manage their Type II Diabetes so they could reduce the amount of medication required.

The 2012 CDN Channel Elite Awards were presented to NexJ at the annual CEA Gala on September 11, 2012 at the Paramount Event and Conference in Toronto, ON.
