DoD joins with NIH to build TBI database

Looking to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of traumatic brain injuries (TBI), the Department of Defense and the National Institutes of Health have partnered to build a TBI-focused database.
The Federal Interagency Traumatic Brain Injury Research (FITBIR) database, funded at $10 million over four years, is designed to accelerate comparative effectiveness research on brain injury treatment and diagnosis.
