There is little not to like about General Dynamics buying Vangent Inc. for $960 million. Its track record of growth and its ability to deliver quickly on large complex projects has made Vangent one of the jewels of the mid-tier, which I’m defining as companies with $200 million to $1 billion in annual revenue...
