Join us for the next Capitol Hill HIT lunch briefing program Wednesday, April 6th, 12:00 – 1:45 pm in Room SD-562 Dirksen Senate Office Building focused on: “Transforming Healthcare: Information Technology Tools for Accountable Care Organizations”.

Wikipedia defines an accountable care organization (ACO) as “a type of payment and delivery reform model that starts to tie provider reimbursements to quality metrics and reductions in the total cost of care for an assigned population of patients”.  The implementation of various healthcare information technologies are viewed as critical to the success of ACOs.  Many private sector healthcare organizations and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services are actively exploring how IT can best be utilized for ACOs.

Some of the nation’s leading policy experts regarding the intersect of ACOs and HIT will be on hand April 6th to help address your questions

The program is publically available and widely attended, and a box lunch will be served.  To register please email: [email protected] or [email protected]
