Interconnected Health 2012 Program Highlights

“Interconnected Health 2012: Enabling Health through High-Impact IT;” presented by OMG®, Health Level Seven® International (HL7), and HIMSS, features a full program of top-notch presenters and topics of interest to the healthcare IT community. Interconnected Health 2012 focuses on approaches, challenges, and solutions affecting the ability to connect health organizations and systems, and the role of IT as an enabler in achieving this connectivity. Geared toward the CxO suite and senior leaders within healthcare organizations, Interconnected Health provides a venue to hear what peer organizations are doing (both within the US and abroad), to exchange ideas, and to interact with peers who are leaders in this space. The theme of the conference is “Enabling Health through High-Impact IT.” Sub-tracks focus on Clinical Decision Support, Clinical Vocabulary and Terminology, Service-Oriented Architecture, Mobile Health, Enterprise Architecture, the Role of Open Source in Health IT, Devices, and Health Information Exchange.
