Limbani Thengo is a Medical Informatics specialist at Partners In Health / Abwenzi Pa Za Umoyo and a Global Health Corps fellow. Hailing from Zomba, Malawi, he founded Razodazo, a business firm that develops software and applications for desktops, mobile devices, and the web.
After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Malawi Polytechnic, Limbani worked in research for over four years with various organizations in Zomba. He is passionate about development work in his community and volunteers with the Malawi Red Cross Society and as an IT Officer for Children's Hope, a community-based organization where he lives.
Together with Joji Malunga, Thengo gave a presentation at the OpenMRS 2017 Implementers conference in Malawi on the OpenMRS-based system deployed by Partners-in-Health in Neno, Malawi. Slides of his presentation can be found here and an article on the conference can be found here.
