A non-partisan educational and training Summit designed as a “Town Hall”  full spectrum view towards the DoD & VA’s efforts at iEHRs and Federal HIE initiatives. The forum is created to encourage a real, pragmatic level of discussion and debate amongst all in attendance. We bring together leaders from across the Armed Services & Government Agencies and the Industry and Academic leaders that can help them forge many of the HIT solutions necessary to achieve their respective “next –steps”. Actionable take aways for today, tomorrow, and the future will drive the discussions.

Attendees are expected to have a professional, working knowledge of the subject matter.

Subject matter to be discussed include, but is not limited to:

  • Being Successful in Driving Transformational Change through Innovative Technologies in an Agile Environment for an iEHR
  • Understanding How Industry Can Engage in an “Agile” Methodology Process towards Acquisition

  • Being Successful with Open Source in an Agile Environment for a  National EHR
  • Mobile Health IT in an Agile Environment: Integrating capabilities that mobilize the provider and the patient
