Diverse Cast of Startups, HIEs, and Vendors Make Authentic Data Exchange Work

Washington, D.C. (February 22, 2018)RosettaHealth, an innovative and secure, big health data interoperability platform, today announced that it will be hosting a “community” of organizations making true strides in breaking down health data exchange barriers at HIMSS 2018.

Joined by HASA, the community HIE for North, South and West Texas, IMAT SolutionsSocialClime and Shatzkin Systems in HIMSS Booth #11418, RosettaHealth will showcase how it takes a diverse cast of HIEs, vendors, and startups to make health data exchange truly work.

“It’s no secret that breaking down the barriers of health data interoperability is a major challenge in the healthcare arena, which will surely be a major discussion topic at HIMSS 2018,” said Buff Colchagoff, CEO of RosettaHealth. “This HIMSS we’re demonstrating how ubiquitous health data exchange comes to life when you act as a community.”

Buff ColchagoffLast year, HASA and RosettaHealth announced a partnership that enhances the exchange of patient health records to better allow healthcare providers in HASA’s network to have automated access to clinical patient information in real-time through their electronic health record.

“This community message is a powerful call to action, and it reflects the reality that no one vendor can do all of this – there are just too many workflows and systems involved,” said Philip Beckett, CIO at HASA, in this recent podcast interview. “You wouldn’t build a house without a solid foundation, and the same with a health information exchange. I want to get this message out at HIMSS 2018.”

Since 1998, Shatzkin Systems has been on the forefront of helping HIEs, hospital systems (and more) to bridge the gap between IT and operations. The company is well known for helping organizations like Bronx RHIO embrace cloud-based systems for effective health data transport.

“So much of the work that we do brings multiple parties together,” said Nance Shatzkin, Founder of Shatzkin Systems, in this podcast interview. “We recognize how things get done by collectively building something that is greater than the sum of its parts. It was an easy decision for us to participate in this combined effort at HIMSS 2018.”

SocialClime develops innovative systems that allow medical practices to gather customer feedback, enhance customer centric cultures, and power customer driven social marketing.  The company’s solution enables happy patients – in as little a 30 seconds – to provide positive reviews about a medical practice through Yelp, Google, Vitals, Facebook, and Healthgrades. SocialClime is also using the RosettaHealth platform to streamline incoming patient data from large medical practices.

“Working together with RosettaHealth, and our partners in the booth, we are excited to look at other areas that can help us serve our customers based on these ‘community ’ relationships,” said Jared Blake, a Partner at SocialClime, in this podcast interview.

Rounding out the RosettaHealth “community” at HIMSS 2018 is IMAT Solutions, a provider of key innovations in data accessibility, analysis, and reporting to healthcare organizations. The company’s product suite is HIPAA-compliant, supporting customers across thirteen states, processing billions of records per year for more than 3,500 facilities, involving 30 million patients and 35,000 providers.

“This is an exciting time in health IT, and we look forward to showing HIMSS 2018 attendees how true health data exchange is happening at the grass roots level, not the adware message,” added Colchagoff.
