LSIT to Feature Medsphere CEO Mike Doyle at November Executive Briefing
Healthcare IT executive Michael J. Doyle will be the featured executive at an upcoming Executive Briefing of the Life Sciences Information Technology (LSIT) Global Institute. A member of LSIT’s Industry Advisory Board, Doyle is president and CEO of Medsphere Systems Corporation, a leading open-source health IT company headquartered in Carlsbad, Calif.
Mike Doyle will present an overview of Medsphere and the company’s OpenVista® electronic health record solution, and also share his perspective on the importance of LSIT's work in developing Good Informatics Practices (GIP) that address pressing concerns in EHR implementations.
“There is so much happening in health care IT and the need is great for clarifying and leveling the playing field with best practices in IT,” explains LSIT CEO Anette Asher.
IP is being developed as a comprehensive body of industry-specific IT and informatics guidance.
