NASA Wants You To Hack Space (And Life On Earth)

NASA announced the launch of its second International Space Apps Challenge featuring 50 space exploration related challenges that range from building applications to designing visualizations based on NASA data.

The two-day event is scheduled for April 20-21, 2013, in 75 locations around the world.

According to NASA, the event aims to embrace “collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space.”
