Saudi Association for Health Informatics (SAHI)

The Saudi Association for Health Informatics (SAHI) was created with the primary objective of promoting the field of health informatics within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The mission of the organizations is to create a convenient assembly in the Middle Eastern Region for professionals, experts, academics and researchers interested in Health Informatics to exchange knowledge, share experiences, discuss challenges, lean lesson from existing projects and meet with solution providers. SAHI conducts various activities and supports numerous initiatives relating to health informatics within the Kingdom. One of its main events is the Saudi E-Health Conference that is hosted by SAHI every two years. SAHI has also been instrumental in creating the first graduate program in health informatics within the region. More recently, SAHI has been involved in creating the King Abdullah Arabic Health Encyclopedia project that will be the first of its kind within the Arab world.
