Houston VA Research Center To Participate In National Initiative

The Department of Veteran Affairs has selected the Houston Health Services Research and Development Center of Excellence at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center to participate in a nationwide initiative.

The VA selected six sites from the 25 applications it received for the Collaborative Research to Enhance and Advance Transformation and Excellence initiative, the DeBakey VA said in a Wednesday statement.

Each of the six sites in the CREATE initiative will conduct projects within a focused area of research. The Houston site will receive a total award of more than $4.37 million for three projects...
