Evidence based practice is a fundamental duty of any profession. This site is aimed at the international transplant community and Texas Transplantation Society now joins the European Society for Organ Transplantation, British Transplant Society, Brazilian Society for Organ Transplantation, Canadian Society of Transplantation, International Pediatric Transplant Association and the Transplant Nurses Association, in gaining access to this valuable resource.

The Transplant Library database was developed to provide easy access to the best available, evidence-based publications in transplant medicine. The aim of the Centre for Evidence in Transplantation (CET) is to provide high quality, evidence-based information on all aspects of solid organ transplantation. The CET maintains the Transplant Library of randomised controlled trials and selected systematic reviews.

The Transplant Library offers:

  • Access to all transplant related Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) from the earliest record to the present
  • Congress Abstracts from RCTs, not available in PubMed
  • Selected, good quality Systematic Reviews from 2008...
