This Shirt Records Your Heart Rate, Calories Burned, And Stress Levels

We’ve seen a bunch of different new wearable devices, but this one, rather than making a new device to wear, takes a good old fashion tshirt and turns it into technology that tracks health and fitness performance. Montreal company OMsignal on May 8 launched its new collection of biometric smartwear, which includes high-performance compression shirts that monitor heart rate, breathing and movement through sensors that connect to a mobile app via bluetooth.

“We’ve been wearing clothing all our lives,” Stéphane Marceau, CEO and co-founder of OMsignal said in a statement on the launch. “It’s the most natural and therefore the ultimate “wearable” medium.
