DARPA Plans Deep Brain Dive To Understand PTSD, TBI

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has launched a program that aims to use shared, multi-disciplinary brain research data and analysis tools to -- among other things -- develop quantitative characterizations of post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury.

The Pentagon’s research arm wants to develop an open framework for a reference brain architecture that will use scalable computational tools for modeling and analysis of brain data.
