VA CIO Roger Baker Takes Up Tweeting

Roger Baker, the Veterans Affairs Department Chief Information Officer, sent out his first Tweet yesterday, which said, "VA Social media Group wants me to start tweeting. Should be entertaining."

Maybe they reminded Baker of the social media policy directive he signed in August, which "highly encouraged" department employees to use social media to interact with the public. My colleague Joseph Marks -- who knows more about social media than I can even begin to fathom -- spotted Baker's first dip into the Twittersphere and I thank him for keeping track of this stuff...
