October 23, 2013 - WebPAX® supports OsiriX interface, which comprises open-source software package for analysis and post-processing of medical images. Once navigated to, any WebPAX dataset can be opened immediately in OsiriX with one mouse click to complete advanced analytical work. OsiriX includes 3D viewer that offers access to such rendering modes as multiplanar reconstruction, surface and volume rendering, and maximum intensity projection. Plugins for additional image analysis capabilities are also available.

The WebPAX(®) product line offers leading edge medical image management and distribution platforms that enable the viewing of all medical images, on the web, on a zero-footprint basis, with 100 percent diagnostic quality. The newest addition to the WebPAX(®) workstation integration line-up is the OsiriX interface. OsiriX is an open-source software package for advanced post-processing of medical images.

In essence, WebPAX provides DICOM storage, web-based distribution, and zero-footprint navigation while OsiriX provides the advanced post-processing tools. OsiriX includes a 3D viewer that offers the physician access to all modern rendering modes such as Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), Surface Rendering, Volume Rendering and Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP).

In addition, a variety of OsiriX plugins are available that offer even more specialized image analysis capabilities.
