Company awarded another task order under VA T4 contract vehicle

ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Creative Computing Solutions, Inc. (CCSi), a leading provider of health services, program management, cybersecurity and enterprise systems engineering to the federal government, today announced it has received a prime contract to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Informatics and Analytics, Health Informatics Office and the Office of Rural Health. CCSi will deliver services to these offices on a nationwide basis over a base year plus two option years. This task order marks yet another award that CCSi has received under the VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) contract vehicle.

The Office of Rural Health works to optimize the use of available and emerging technologies, establish new access points to care, and increase health care options for all rural veterans. In support of this goal, the Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) Health Program has built an infrastructure for veterans to participate in health information exchange, which includes VLER Health Exchange, Direct Secure Messaging, and Blue Button Download.

Under the terms of the contract, CCSi will provide on-site Rural Health Community Coordinators (RHCCs) in each of the 55 rural health VA Medical Centers (VAMC). RHCCs will work with veterans to enable their access to Exchange, Direct and Blue Button Download systems, providing both on-site and remote training for veterans and VAMC clinicians on the benefits of these technologies. CCSi’s RHCCs will also coordinate and assist VAMC staff in working with My HealtheVet outreach staff.

“Veterans living in rural areas are often challenged in terms of readily available access to an array of online services provided by the VA,” said Maggie Bauer, Senior Vice President, Health Services at CCSi. “CCSi shares the Office of Rural Health's commitment to empowering health for the nation’s veterans and providing them secure, efficient and effective access to their health and benefit services.”

To provide these services to our nation’s rural veterans, CCSi is teamed with Grant Thornton, Armed Forces Services Corporation, a service-disabled veteran-owned business and Atlas Research, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
